Treatment Process

We start with mild therapies as you feel better, we progress to active and manual therapies. Our treatments are safe, effective, and may help you feel great. Dr. Bernal is a board certified Chiropractic Physician. He has his certification in Physio-Therapy (PT), Acupuncture, and post graduate education in spinal trauma and whiplash treatment. He is also experienced in Chiroptractic Pediatrics, and is a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.

New Patient Office Procedures

When you come into the office for the first time, you will sign in and you will be asked for an identification card of some kind, and an insurance card, if you have it. We also accept self paying patients. You will be asked to fill out new patient paperwork and a progress sheet. You will fill out the progress sheet and sign in for every visit for here on. You will be asked to watch a video and then you will be taken back with a Chiropractic Assistant to gather some more info (ie weight, medical history, standard tests, etc.). You will then be seen by the doctor. More than likely you will not get an adjustment on the very first visit. You will get a treatment plan and receive an adjustement on your second visit, along with going over x-rays and any test results.

General Office Procedures

Payment is expected at time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks and we will gladly charge your credit card for a minimum of $50.00 and we will auto debit your checking account for fees less than $50.00. In most cases, we reassess your case/condition every four weeks or twelve visits to determine and maintain a current treatment plan. We work closely with several medical providers in our community. If your case/condition falls outside of our scope of practice, we will refer you to the appropriate physician.Your 100% satisfaction is our commitment. Please inform us at any point in your care, if there is something that we can do to make your experience with us better. Legally we are the owners and are responsible for all records, including your x-rays, diagnositc studies and all office records. Although they are records of your case/condition, they belong to the office but we will gladly submit copies to you or another provider (when applicable) within 10 days of your signed, written request.
